FEATURES OF THE COGNITIVE-DISCURSIVE APPROACH IN THE STUDY OF NUMERATIVE UNITS

The article aims to identify the theoretical and methodological features of the study of numerical units within the framework of the cognitive-discursive approach. It aims to empirically demonstrate that numerical units are not only a means of communication in text and speech, but also a discursive resource that activates mechanisms of conceptual structuring, evaluation, intensification, and socio-pragmatic influence.
