Abstract
The article analyzes lexical innovations in the media discourse of the digital age based on Russian and Uzbek languages. It examines the role of mass media in the formation and dissemination of neologisms. The main types of neologisms (borrowed, word-formation, and semantic) and their adaptation features are identified. A comparative analysis reveals both global trends driven by digitalization and language-specific characteristics. The study highlights the importance of media discourse as a key factor in lexical renewal.
