Abstract
This article analyzes the factors influencing women's socio-political participation. The study is based on sociological and political science approaches. Social, economic, educational and institutional determinants affecting women's participation in political processes are examined. The results indicate that education level, economic independence, gender equality policies and the activity of social institutions play an important role in strengthening women's socio-political engagement.
