Abstract

This article analyzes the issues of literary influence and the development of poetic thought in the poetry of Sergei Yesenin, a major representative of Russian literature, and Erkin Vohidov, a famous poet of Uzbek literature. In the course of the research, the lyrical spirit, nature and national images, as well as poetic means of expression in the works of the two poets are studied comparatively. Special attention is paid to the artistic influence of Yesenin's poetry on Uzbek poetry, in particular on the work of Erkin Vohidov. The article highlights the importance of literary connections, the translation process and cultural context in the development of poetic thought [A1; 287 b]. Also, the research uses methods of comparative analysis and compares the lyrical, figurative and semantic aspects of poetry. The results show that Erkin Vohidov's translations and poetic work reflect the integration of Russian classical poetry into poetic thought in the national Uzbek context, contributing to the development of the national image and poetic style.
