Knee joint injuries are one of the most pressing issues in sports medicine, especially among football players, where high intensity of loads leads to frequent damage to the ligament apparatus and meniscus. The aim of the study is to analyze modern methods for diagnosing knee joint injuries and to evaluate their clinical significance in early detection of injuries and the optimization of further treatment and rehabilitation tactics. The work utilized data from scientific literature and clinical observations of athletes aged 16–25. The results show that a comprehensive diagnostic approach, including MRI, ultrasound, functional tests, and biomechanical analysis of movements, ensures high diagnostic accuracy and contributes to reducing the risk of complications. Keywords: football players, knee joint, ACL, MRI, sports medicine, diagnostics, biomechanics.
