Abstract

This article examines the activities of international organizations and programs in the development of women’s political rights. It analyzes the role of international institutions in ensuring gender equality, expanding women’s participation in political life, improving electoral rights, and promoting women to leadership positions. Special attention is paid to the activities of the United Nations, UN Women, UNDP, OSCE, European Union and other institutions implementing programs to support women leaders and protect their political rights. Based on the research, proposals are developed for strengthening international cooperation in this field.
