Abstract
This article analyzes personal data security issues and the ethical foundations for using educational platforms in the context of the digital transformation of education. It examines the pedagogical and managerial aspects of the digital educational environment, in which educational platforms are becoming a key tool for organizing the educational process and accumulating significant amounts of student data. Based on an analysis of scientific literature, regulations, and international recommendations, the main risks of digitalization in education are identified: excessive collection of personal data, algorithmic profiling of students, expansion of institutional control, and decreased transparency of information processing. Particular attention is paid to the role of educational organizations in ensuring legal and ethical regulation of the use of digital platforms.
