Abstract
This article examines the phenomena of radicalism and extremism as a threat to the stability of society and social security. The priority areas of combating these threats in ensuring the social security system, cooperation between state and civil society institutions, and international experience are analyzed. The role of prevention, education, legal mechanisms, and ensuring information security is also highlighted.
