Abstract
Using the central part of the Chardzhou stage as an example, the results of zoning the territory by the ratio of structural plans of carbonate and terrigenous deposits are presented, with the identification of 9 types of zones in the paper. Based on the analysis of variance, the effect of these zones on the distribution of oil and gas fields was quantified. The high reliability of this factor's effect on the distribution of oil and gas deposits made it possible to propose it as a criterion for identifying promising areas.
