Abstract

This article explores the theoretical and practical aspects of designing a women’s clothing collection in the Classic Chic style. Particular attention is given to the application of compositional principles in combining materials of different textures—smooth, structured, matte, and glossy. The study analyzes the role of textural contrast as an artistic and expressive tool in creating a cohesive image. A design methodology is proposed that integrates both aesthetic and functional characteristics of garments.
