Developing the General Cultural Competence of Tourism Students in A Digital Educational Environment: A Didactic Approach

Abstract

This article analyzes the didactic opportunities for developing the general cultural competence of tourism students within a digital educational environment. Based on competency-based and systemic approaches, the study clarifies the cognitive, communicative, and axiological components of general cultural competence and substantiates the role of digital technologies in their development. The didactic potential of the digital educational environment in fostering general cultural competence in tourism education is justified, and scientific conclusions are formulated regarding its effective organization.
