Abstract
This article is devoted to a contrastive analysis of vegetable-garden and fruit–vegetable component-based phraseological units, which constitute important elements of the flora concept in both German and Uzbek languages. The study examines the position of this thematic group within the phraseological systems of the two languages, as well as their semantic scope and their relationship with the mentality of the respective peoples. The research demonstrates that, in German and Uzbek languages belonging to different language families, phraseological units containing floral components exhibit both distinctive features and certain commonalities, which are reflected in this article.
