Analysis of Devices Used to Separate Agricultural Crops from Their Heads and Pods

Abstract

This article presents a constructive analysis of modern devices used for crushing and separating grain and leguminous crops from ears and legumes. The principles of operation, advantages and disadvantages of technologies developed by the German company "Fortshtritt", Russian scientists and domestic researchers (MEI) are studied. The research is aimed, in particular, at reducing grain damage, increasing productivity and ensuring the versatility of the equipment. Based on the analysis, the importance of working components of the needle and thread type, which are effective for soybeans and other difficult-to-separate crops, is justified.
