Abstract

This article scientifically examines the pedagogical and psychological foundations for developing logical and creative thinking in preschool children. The study investigates the cognitive and intellectual characteristics of preschool age, the psychological mechanisms of thinking development, and the impact of modern pedagogical technologies on children’s cognitive activity. In addition, the role of a developmental educational environment, interactive methods, problem-based learning, STEAM technologies, and play activities in fostering independent and creative thinking in children is theoretically and practically analyzed. The research findings indicate that the application of innovative and constructivist approaches in preschool education significantly contributes to the development of children’s intellectual potential, cognitive activity, and independent thinking skills.
