Abstract

The article analyzes the impact of the reconstruction and systematic repair and restoration measures of the “Ko‘raklar” collector located in the Gulistan area of Shavot district of Khorezm region on the amelioration state of irrigated lands. The study was conducted based on field observations, observation well data, collector water mineralization, salt regime in the 0-100 cm layer of soil, and productivity indicators of the “Qodir Pirmat” farm. The results showed that in 2025, the average annual groundwater level decreased by 11 cm compared to 2024, and during the irrigation period by 18 cm. The volume of groundwater decreased from 15.35 million m³ to 14.52 million m³, the dry residue in groundwater decreased from 2.79 g/l to 2.69 g/l, and the chlorine ion decreased from 0.56 g/l to 0.54 g/l. According to the soil profile, the chlorine ion decreased by 10.3%, and the dry residue decreased by 15.6%. An increase in productivity was recorded for cotton by 2.8 t/ha, for grain by 3.8 t/ha. The results obtained confirm that the reconstruction of collector networks is an important factor in ensuring land reclamation stability, managing the water-salt regime, and increasing the productivity of irrigated areas.
