Background: Surgical resection remains the primary curative treatment for localized renal cell carcinoma (RCC). This study aims to provide a comprehensive comparative evaluation of perioperative, safety, and short-term oncological outcomes between open radical nephrectomy (ORN) and laparoscopic radical nephrectomy (LRN).
