Abstract

Listening comprehension is a crucial component of language acquisition and communicative competence. This study examines effective pedagogical strategies for teaching listening skills and explores reliable methods for assessing learners’ comprehension. Using a qualitative approach based on classroom observation and methodological analysis, the article highlights the role of structured listening stages, authentic materials, and continuous assessment. The findings suggest that a combination of interactive techniques and formative assessment significantly improves learners’ listening performance.
