Abstract

This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the constitutional foundations of the family, its role in the life of society and the state, its legal status and constitutional principles. The Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan covers the recognition of the family as the main unit of society, the voluntary nature of marriage, the equal rights of spouses, the mutual rights and obligations of parents and children, as well as the protection of motherhood and childhood. The article reveals the importance of constitutional norms in the formation of family legislation, the state's policy on supporting the family, and the role of the family in the stability of society.
