Abstract

This article analyzes the essence of the concept of corruption, its historical and theoretical foundations, negative impact on the development of society, and socio-legal consequences. Also, the negative impact of corruption on public administration, economy, education system, and civil society is scientifically and theoretically illuminated, and modern mechanisms for combating it and international experiences are considered. The study substantiates the important role of legal awareness, transparency, justice, and public control in preventing corruption.
