Abstract

This scientific article analyses the current state, ways of improvement, and future development trends of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management systems in the construction industry. The causes of the high injury rates and fatal incidents in the construction sector and the role of modern technologies in eliminating them - artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), wearable devices, drones, digital twins, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) - are examined. The article also covers the implementation of the ISO 45001:2018 international standard, the formation of a safety culture, and human factor issues. As a result of the research, the author has developed practical recommendations for improving OHS management systems in construction enterprises.
