Abstract
This study investigates the practical capabilities of Microsoft Excel for primary data processing, visualization, and the determination of correlation links between parametric indicators from large-scale medical datasets obtained from Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Hospital Information Systems (HIS). Using clinical variables (patient age and systolic blood pressure) as a model, this paper demonstrates the algorithm for calculating the Pearson correlation coefficient ($r$) and creating correlation matrices within the Excel environment, as well as the methodology for visualizing these datasets using scatter plots and trendlines.
