Abstract

This article analyzes modern approaches to the technology of obtaining technical carbon (carbon black) and factors affecting its physicochemical properties. The processes of technical carbon synthesis based on pyrolysis oil, acetylene and other hydrocarbon sources are considered. The technology of obtaining technical carbon of the TU-5 brand through dispersion and chelation processes using sulfanol-type surfactants has been developed. The dispersity, structural parameters and compliance of the obtained product with industry standards are evaluated based on ASTM methods.
