Abstract

This article examines the semantic and linguocultural peculiarities of translating anthroponyms in German and Russian. Special attention is paid to the preservation of national, cultural, and stylistic features of personal names in translation. The study analyzes different translation methods such as transcription, transliteration, calque, and adaptation. The research highlights the importance of anthroponyms in reflecting cultural identity and intercultural communication.
