Abstract. This article analyzes the role of foreign investments in the development of the industrial sector and their economic efficiency. Expansion of production capacity of enterprises, introduction of modern technologies and increase of competitiveness through foreign investments are highlighted. Also, the main factors affecting the growth of the industrial sector of investment flows are studied. Based on the results of the research, proposals for improving the attraction of foreign investments were developed.
