“The Pedagogical Significance of Teaching a Healthy Lifestyle to Primary School Students”
Abstract
The article examines the importance of forming a healthy lifestyle in modern society. The study reveals that a healthy lifestyle not only ensures the physical and psychological well-being of an individual but also has an impact on national health. The author analyzes historical sources from the traditional Kazakh worldview that support a healthy lifestyle, including the educational heritage of Kurtka Sultankhojauly, the laws of Qasym Khan known as “Qasym Khan’s Bright Path,” the laws of Esim Khan called “Esim Khan’s Old Path,” the rules of Tauke Khan’s “Zheti Zhargy,” and the work Shipagerlik Bayan by Oteiboydaq Tileuqabyluly. The article considers the promotion of a healthy lifestyle at the level of a national idea and places special emphasis on demonstrating the harmony between historical traditions and modern pedagogical approaches. The research findings have practical significance for providing health-related education and upbringing to school-aged students and society as a whole.
