Abstract

The study examines the pedagogical significance of teaching Latin medical terminology in modern medical education and analyzes effective methods for developing students’ professional linguistic competence. Latin remains the foundation of international medical terminology and plays an important role in the training of future physicians, pharmacists, and nurses. The research focuses on innovative educational approaches, including interactive teaching methods, digital technologies, problem-based learning, and etymological analysis, which contribute to the effective acquisition of medical terms. The article highlights the importance of systematic terminology instruction in improving students’ communicative competence, clinical thinking, and professional literacy. The findings demonstrate that integrating modern pedagogical technologies into Latin language instruction significantly increases students’ motivation and enhances long-term retention of medical terminology.
