Abstract
The author of the thesis thoroughly analyzed the content, objectives, tasks, and key opportunities of the variative approach in foreign language teaching. In addition, the goals and tasks of the professionally oriented approach, contextual approach, and integrative-reflective approach were comparatively examined in relation to the variative approach.
