Abstract
This article analyzes methodological approaches to developing technical thinking competence in future teachers. The study substantiates competence-based, activity-oriented, systemic, constructivist, integrative, and reflective approaches as a theoretical basis for designing effective teacher education programmes focused on technical reasoning.
