Effectiveness of Interactive Mobile Apps and Neural Networks in Teaching Uzbek as a Foreign Language
Abstract
Abstract. This article explores whether interactive mobile applications and neural network-based tools can effectively help foreign learners study Uzbek. Unlike previous research focused on statistical comparisons, this study presents a qualitative, practice-based analysis of real learner experiences, common challenges, and practical outcomes. The author conducted observational work with 60 international students over 12 weeks, comparing traditional teaching, mobile apps, and AI-powered chatbots. Results show that neural networks significantly improve grammar understanding, error correction, and learner motivation, while mobile apps are most useful for vocabulary building. However, neither fully replaces human teachers, especially for pronunciation and cultural context. A hybrid model combining all three approaches is recommended as the most realistic and effective solution.
