Abstract

This article discusses the pedagogical and linguodidactic significance of using songs in developing English pronunciation skills in children. The study analyzes the role of songs in forming phonetic competence, improving correct pronunciation of sounds, and mastering intonation and rhythm. It also highlights the opportunities to enhance listening comprehension, memory retention, and speaking activity through songs appropriate to children’s age and psychological characteristics. The article examines the effectiveness of musical methods in English language teaching, the advantages of interactive approaches, and practical techniques aimed at reducing pronunciation errors.
