Abstract
The efficiency of diesel engines in arid (dry) climatic conditions largely depends on the quality of the air purification system. Dust and fine particles in the atmosphere cause rapid wear of the engine cylinder-piston group, turbocharger and fuel system. This article analyzes the possibilities of using electrostatic air filters in diesel engines, their operating principle, advantages and efficiency in arid regions.
