Abstract
This article analyzes the role and significance of motivational exercises in developing students’ creative abilities from a scientific and pedagogical perspective. Based on motivational theories, particularly the Self-Determination Theory developed by Deci and Ryan and Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, the methodology of applying motivational exercises in the educational process is discussed. The research findings confirm that motivational exercises have a positive impact on the development of students’ creative thinking, imagination, and independent reasoning.
