Abstract
Epigenetic clocks are innovative tools that estimate biological age by analyzing chemical modifications of DNA, specifically methylation patterns. These clocks predict the risk of chronic diseases, including cardiovascular, oncological, and neurodegenerative disorders, as well as mortality, enabling clinicians to identify patients requiring preventive interventions. Based on a review of the literature, the possibility of applying epigenetic clocks in clinical practice is analyzed.
