Abstract

This research examines how Standard Korean differs from regional dialects within Korea from phonetic, lexical, and grammatical perspectives, and provides a comparative analysis of how similar phenomena are manifested in the relationship between Standard Uzbek and Uzbek dialects. In addition, the study briefly discusses the hypothesis that the Korean language may be related to the Altaic language family, and provides several illustrative examples.
