Abstract

The development of speaking skills is a fundamental component of second language acquisition. However, many learners face challenges such as anxiety, limited interaction, and lack of confidence. This paper explores the role of drama techniques as an effective pedagogical approach to enhancing speaking proficiency. Drawing on relevant literature, the study highlights how drama-based activities promote fluency, improve pronunciation, and foster communicative competence. The paper also discusses practical classroom applications and addresses potential challenges in implementation.
