Abstract

This study examined clinical features, immunological markers, and hormonal profiles of autoimmune thyroiditis (AIT) in 72 adolescent males aged 12–17 years. Anti-TPO titers (248.6±32.4 IU/mL) and TSH levels (5.8±1.2 mIU/L) were significantly elevated compared to controls (p<0.001). Subclinical hypothyroidism was detected in 43.1% of cases. The findings support the need for broader AIT screening in adolescent males.
