Abstract

This article examines the pedagogical significance of developing environmental awareness and environmental responsibility among pupils and students in the educational process. It analyzes the content of environmental education, its role in personal development, and the methods and tools that contribute to the formation of environmental culture. Special attention is paid to studying environmental issues in classroom and extracurricular activities, fostering a careful attitude toward nature, and integrating the ideas of sustainable development into the educational process.
