Abstract

This study explores the intricate relationship between maxillofacial morphology and the psychological well-being of children aged 6 to 13 years. Beyond clinical correction, the research emphasizes the socio-psychological rehabilitation of patients with mesial occlusion. Utilizing the WHOQOL-BREF methodology and the Zung self-rating depression scale, we analyzed the life quality dynamics of 153 patients throughout different stages of orthodontic intervention. The findings demonstrate that successful clinical outcomes are inextricably linked to significant improvements in social adaptation and emotional stability.
