Abstract
This study is aimed at developing and scientifically substantiating a methodological approach to studying social network addiction (ITQ)among student youth. ITQ was interpreted not as a separate behavioral deviation but as the product of a complex interplay of individual-psychological, socio-contextual, and motivational factors. Psychodiagnostic methodologies were comparatively analyzed based on thecriteria of theoretical appropriateness, empirical validity, and psychometric quality.
