FORMATION OF HEALTH CAPITAL: INSTITUTIONAL ASPECTS OF THE EFFECTIVENESS OF MASS SPORTS EVENTS
Abstract
The article examines the role of mass sports and physical culture activities as a strategic tool forthe formation and development of human capital in the population of Uzbekistan. The articleanalyzes state strategies and programs related to mass sports and physical culture, includinga system of multi-level mass competitions and infrastructure initiatives aimed at involvingvarious social groups in regular physical activity. Systemic problems have been identified:insufficient inter-agency coordination between education, healthcare, and sports authorities;lack of effective monitoring and evaluation of the impact of mass sports on population health;limited participation of the private sector; and low engagement of certain socially vulnerablegroups, including women, older adults, and rural residents.
