Abstract
The introduction of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies in modern education opens up opportunities to enhance the quality of education and provide a personalized approach. However, this process may exacerbate the digital divide. This article analyzes the disparities between ruralurban areas and socio-economic groups in the context of AI application in education. The issue is examined based on international studies (OECD, UNESCO), the experiences of developing countries, and the context of Uzbekistan. Results indicate that deficiencies in infrastructure, digital literacy, and resources largely reserve the benefits of AI for urban and wealthy populations. Policy recommendations are provided in the article.
