Abstract

This article analyzes the theoretical and pedagogical foundations of forming speech culture in primary grades in connection with the opportunities of artificial intelligence. Speech culture is the pupil’s ability to express thoughts fluently, clearly, consistently, logically, politely, and in accordance with the norms of the literary language. At the primary education stage, this skill is formed through oral and written speech exercises in native language, reading literacy, upbringing, natural science, and mathematics lessons. Artificial intelligence tools can be used as auxiliary didactic means in composing texts, creating dialogues, analyzing errors, developing individual speech tasks, and encouraging pupils’ independent expression of ideas.
