Abstract

The increasing demand for foreign language proficiency in professional, academic, and social contexts has highlighted the importance of effective teaching approaches for adult learners. This article examines the advantages of modern foreign language teaching methods and the conditions necessary for their successful implementation in adult education. Particular attention is paid to communicative language teaching, task-based learning, blended learning, and technology-enhanced instruction. Adult learners possess unique characteristics, including established learning strategies, clear goals, and practical motivations, which influence the effectiveness of instructional methods. The study emphasizes that the successful application of modern teaching approaches depends on factors such as learner motivation, relevant learning materials, technological accessibility, and a supportive educational environment. The findings demonstrate that appropriately selected methods can improve language proficiency, learner autonomy, and communicative competence among adult learners.
