It substantiates the role of data sources such as population censuses, current records of demographic events, sample and specialized surveys, and registers in demographic analysis. It also explains how the system of demographic coefficients is used to assess the population’s condition and emphasizes the importance of reliable demographic data in regional economic planning and decision-making. The thesis demonstrates that an in-depth study of demographic processes is a key factor in developing regional development strategies.
