Abstract

The article analyzes the content of the axiological approach to the formation of intercultural communication skills in primary school students in the modern education system, its pedagogical significance and possibilities in the development of intercultural competence. Ways to form such qualities as respect, cooperation, empathy, and cultural sensitivity in students through lessons, ethical situational games, discussions, and creative projects organized on the basis of values in the process of primary education are highlighted.
