Abstract
This thesis explores the psychological foundations for developing self-management and self-improvement skills in prospective athletes. It analyzes the role of personal discipline, motivation, volitional qualities, and emotional stability in athletic performance. Furthermore, the thesis examines psychological approaches and effective methods that facilitate the development of self-regulation mechanisms in athletes. The research findings indicate that these skills are crucial factors for success in sports and for personal growth.
