ABI

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the theoretical and methodological foundations of vocational guidance for students based on an interdisciplinary approach in the context of technology education, as well as to substantiate effective implementation mechanisms. The research employed theoretical analysis, comparative analysis, content analysis, a systematic approach, and modeling methods. The findings indicate that education organized on the basis of interdisciplinary integration enhances students’ deep understanding of knowledge, its practical application, and the development of creative and analytical thinking. A five-stage methodological model for implementing the interdisciplinary approach was developed. This model contributes to the formation of students’ professional interests, competencies, and conscious career choice skills through technology education. It is concluded that the interdisciplinary approach serves as an effective pedagogical mechanism for vocational guidance in technology education.
