Abstract: This article analyzes the legal and practical aspects of cooperation between the institutions of the Penitentiary Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and territorial internal affairs bodies. The paper highlights the mechanisms of interagency cooperation in the social adaptation of released convicts, their supervision, and the prevention of recidivism. Furthermore, promising directions for implementing digitalization and modern technologies to increase the efficiency of this cooperation are proposed.
