Abstract
One of the long standing questions in astrophysics is the progenitors of Gamma Ray Bursts (GRBs). Collapse of a massive star is one of the most favoured progenitors of the long GRBs. Evidence for a massive star being a GRB progenitor may be obtained in two different ways, both using observations of GRB afterglows. (1) Supernova (SN) component
