Renewable energy in the early XXI century and prospects for development of solar engineering in Uzbekistan

Abstract

The paper analyzes the state in the world of the use of renewable energy sources in the early XXI century and reflects the achievements of various countries in this direction. Wind power engineering and PV (photovoltaic) power engineering are shown to develop at the fastest rates. The production capabilities for obtaining renewable energy resources are considered. Achievements are noted, and suggestions are formulated regarding the prospects for solar engineering development in Uzbekistan.
